NAHC/AARP 2023 LTSS State Scorecard
October 30, 2023AARP recently released the 2023 update to their nationally renowned State Long-term Services and Supports Scorecard (https://ltsschoices.aarp.org/scorecard-report/2023). The LTSS Scorecard, a first of its kind, assesses and ranks various components of the 50 states and District of Columbia in five key areas:
- Affordability and Access
- Choice of Setting and Provider
- Safety and Quality
- Support for Family Caregivers
- Community Integration
The scorecard is a powerful tool for providers, policymakers, and stakeholders to use to both understand the current strengths and limitations of state long-term services and supports systems as well as to advocate for improvements. Join experts from AARP as they walk through the Scorecard, its domains, and how the homecare and hospice community can use the Scorecard in our advocacy and policy efforts.
