NAHC Presents: CY2024 Home Health FINAL Rule
November 6, 2023On November 1, 2023, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released the calendar year 2024 Home Health Prospective Payment System Rate Update final rule. In addition to rate updates for home health agencies, the rule includes provisions that revise the Home Health Quality Reporting Program, the Home Health Value Based Purchasing demonstration project, and claims processing for disposable negative pressure wound therapy.
CMS also finalized two new Medicare Part B benefit categories along with revisions to several provider enrollment provisions. The rule includes a summary of comments on two requests for information: Access to Home Health Aide Services and Principles for Selecting and Prioritizing HH QRP Quality Measures and Concepts. This presentation will address all the above proposed provisions and the impact on home health agencies.
