Washington, D.C., June 22, 2018:

June 22, 2018 – The Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) has announced the 2018‑2019 Home Care and Hospice Salary & Benefits studies are now underway.  The studies are published by HCS in cooperation with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC).

Once again, NAHC will be asking members to participate in the Salary & Benefits survey, which is recognized as the authoritative source for comprehensive marketplace data for home health and hospice agencies. The results include data on 60+ jobs from CEO, CFO, to RN, LPN, MSW, and HCA, to Clinical Support Staff.

Data reported include salary, hourly and per visit rates.  The results also include 19 fringe benefits, turnover rates, shift differentials, productivity data and more!   Data are reported by CBSA, state, revenue size, profit type, and agency type.

Last year’s Home Care Report contained data from over 1,800 home health agencies.  The Hospice Report had data from 890+ hospice agencies.

Completed questionnaires for both studies should be submitted to HCS by August 6th.  The Home Care Report will be published in October; the Hospice Report will be available in November. The results are available as a hard copy book or in PDF format.  Both Reports are available for purchase on the NAHC website, as well as the HCS website.

Participants in the studies merit substantial discounts on the published Reports and save over 50% off the price.

Agencies with one agency/site should select the single site questionnaire.  Agencies with locations in multiple counties/states should select the Multi-Site questionnaire.

Questionnaires may be downloaded at  For further information, please contact Rosanne Zabka at or (201) 405-0075, ext. 11.
