Washington, D.C., February 13, 2018:
Please join the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM Eastern for a discussion called “The Latest Policy & Budget Developments in Home Care and Hospice.” The issues covered in this webinar are the result of legislation signed into law by President Trump last week, the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018, and include policies proposed in the President’s annual budget released on February 12.
The webinar topics will include:
- Payment system reform;
- Face-to-face requirements/physician documentation certification;
- Rural add-on for home health services;
- Physician assistants’ scope of practice;
- Early discharge to hospice;
- IPAB repeal; and
- Other impactful developments.
The webinar will also discuss the President’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2019; this includes a shift in payment structure to the home health groupings model and the associated budget cut to the Medicare home health benefit of nearly $17 billion.
The webinar will be led by NAHC President Bill Dombi, and additional panelists will include Andrea Devoti, Theresa Forster, Rich Brennan, and Calvin McDaniel.
This webinar is free to all, members and non-members alike. Please see the information below for how to attend this webinar. We look forward to talking to you about these important issues affecting the entire home care and hospice community.
