TAKE ACTION: Rescind Medicare Home Health Pre-Claim Review

In February, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a Paperwork Reduction Act Notice containing a proposal to institute a system of “prior authorization” on all home health services in five states.

In June CMS issued a notice of its final proposal design. Minor changes* and upstanding home health agencies because it would be costly, burdensome, and ineffective.

Please contact your Member of Congress and ask them to urge CMS to rescind its Medicare home health pre-claim proposal.
